Today I will be sharing with you 5 reasons why you should absolutely retire early.

Happiness:

Before you start throwing tomatoes, hear me out. There are lots of researches that proves that earning more money does not make you happier. Sure, being able to live comfortably is the dream life, which I agree you should aim at. But what brings you more fulfillment and ultimate happiness is not having more money in your account, especially when you have to get that money at the expense of spending time with your family or the things you love.

Passive Income:

Yes, if you have been planning for your early retirement for some years now, by investing your savings into dividend growth stocks, then you are probably lying on the beach enjoying a martini while your money is working for you. That is one of the upsides of retiring early. It means, that you have passive income streaming into your pocket without you having to work for any active income.

Control of Your Time:

There is really not much to say about this, order than the fact that, once you retire and don’t have to clock into work every day for money, you can do absolutely what you want with your time. Something you are passionate about or gain satisfaction from. I don’t mean playing games all day, except that gives you a sense of fulfillment. Lol! The point is to retire while you are still young enough to volunteer or travel the world. Click here watch my latest interview with a 24-year-old retiree.

Leave Consumer Culture:

You don’t have to keep up with the Kardashians next door to prove any point. Also, check out this video of cheap countries to start with.

Endless Possibilities:

Financial Independence and early retirement, does not mean the end of your working career. This is one of the biggest misconceptions about the FIRE community. Now, if you have a job that you enjoy and get delighted about, then there is no reason why you should want to retire early.

So there, you have 5 reasons why you should pursue complete freedom to be the best, most powerful, energetic, happiest and most generous version of yourself that you can possibly be, by leaving a job that brings you stress and gaining control of your hours and doing what makes you happy.Â
